Apricots and Leaves

I painted these apricots because they carried a quiet tension: softness and strength at once. Their ripeness felt like a reflection of those rare moments in life when something feels complete without needing explanation.

The darkness around them mattered to me. It creates silence and gives the warmth of the fruit room to breathe. That contrast became the heart of the painting.

For me, this work speaks about timing, presence, and the beauty of things that feel precious because they are fleeting. Some moments don’t need to ask for attention. They stay with us simply because we truly noticed them.
