Don´t know how that happened

This painting is built on simple irony. A dog stands there as if he just laid an egg. Everyone knows that’s impossible. That gap between reality and the scene is the whole joke.

I painted his expression to look confused, almost thoughtful: “How did this happen?” The humor is quiet and dry. No drama, no noise. Just a small, absurd moment that makes you pause and smile.

For the viewer, it’s a reminder that a bit of nonsense can soften a hard day. Sometimes a tiny twist is enough to break the tension.
